The Sessions on Intercultural and Anti-Racist Education were held on 2nd and 3rd June 2020, organised by Alboan. In light of the new normal caused by COVID-19, the format was changed to online instead of in-person meetings. We introduced the European CHANGE Project and the experience of the Sagrado Corazón School from Pamplona.
Through this video the student ambassadors presented their service-learning project called “Pamplona, an open city,” aimed at fostering welcome attitudes with regard to migration flows.
A group of 22 students in their second-to-last year of High School (aged 16) had been provided with classes on migration and refuge throughout the 2019-2020 academic year. The initial training drew on the educational material made by CHANGE, but the encounter would not just be a theoretical approach, but a prompt to take action. With this in mind, they reached out to several social organisations near the school, who support migrants or refugees, and volunteered to work together. These organisations include SEI, backing teenagers newly arrived in the city; CEAR that works with asylum seekers in Spain; and finally they made contact with COA Argaray, a Reception Centre for unaccompanied Minors. Together, they planned and developed different encounters, activities and workshops. Many of them were fully implemented, while others, unfortunately, had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Jornadas de Educación Intercultural y Antirracista 2020
El 2 y 3 de junio se celebraron las jornadas de Educación Intercultural y Antirracista organizadas por Alboan. Este año, debido a la situación creada por la pandemia de la Covid-19, fueron a distancia en lugar de ser presenciales. En estas jornadas presentamos CHANGE y la experiencia del Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Pamplona con este proyecto.
Las estudiantes embajadoras nos presentaron, a través de este vídeo, su proyecto de Aprendizaje-Servicio “Pamplona, ciudad abierta” para fomentar actitudes de acogida frente al fenómeno de las migraciones.
Un grupo de 22 jóvenes estudiantes de 1º de Bachillerato (16 años), a lo largo del curso 2019-2020 se formaron en los conceptos relacionados con las migraciones y el refugio. En esta formación inicial se apoyaron el material pedagógico de CHANGE. Pero no quisieron quedarse en un planteamiento teórico sino que decidieron pasar a la acción. Para ello contactaron con diversas entidades sociales del entorno del colegio que trabajan con personas migrantes o refugiadas y ofrecieron su colaboración. Algunas de estas organizaciones fueron SEI que trabaja con jóvenes adolescentes recién llegados a la ciudad. También contactaron con CEAR que trabaja con personas solicitantes de asilo en España. Por último, establecieron relación con el COA Argaray que es un centro de acogida de menores no acompañados. Con todos ellos planificaron y desarrollaron diversos encuentros, actividades y talleres. Muchos de ellos pudieron ponerse en marcha, pero otros, lamentablemente, tuvieron que cancelarse por la pandemia.
Kulturarteko Hezkuntza eta Heziketa Antiarrazista 2020
Ekainaren 2an eta 3an Alboanek antolatutako Kulturarteko Hezkuntza eta Heziketa Antirrazista jardunaldiak egin ziren. Aurten, Covid-19 pandemiak sortutako egoeraren ondorioz, urrutikoak ziren, aurrez aurrekoak izan beharrean. CHANGE azaldu genuen eta Iruñeko Jesusen Bihotza ikastetxearen esperientzia aurkeztu genuen.
Ikasle enbaxadoreek bere Ikaskuntza Zerbitzu “Pamplona, ciudad abierta” proiektua konpartitu ziguten bideo honen bitartez, migrazioen fenomenoaren aurrean harrera-jarrerak sustatzeko.
Batxilergoko 1. mailako (16 urte) 22 ikasle gaztek, 2019-2020 ikasturtean zehar, migrazioekin eta aterpearekin lotutako kontzeptuei buruzko prestakuntza jaso zuten. Hasierako prestakuntza horretan Changeren material pedagogikoa babestu zen. Baina ez zuten planteamendu teoriko batean geratu nahi, ekintzara pasatzea erabaki zuten. Horretarako, migratzaileekin edo errefuxiatuekin lan egiten duten ikastetxearen inguruko hainbat gizarte-erakunderekin harremanetan jarri ziren, eta haien lankidetza eskaini zuten. Erakunde horietako batzuk izan ziren:
SEI, hirira etorri berri diren nerabeekin lan egiten duena. Espainian asiloa eskatzen duten pertsonekin lan egiten duen CEARekin ere harremanetan jarri ziren. Azkenik, COA Argarayrekin harremanetan jarri ziren, bakarrik dauden adingabeei harrera egiteko zentroa baita. Horiekin guztiekin hainbat topaketa, jarduera eta tailer planifikatu eta garatu zituzten. Horietako asko martxan jarri ahal izan ziren, baina beste batzuk, tamalez, bertan behera geratu ziren pandemiagatik.
