European interschool Kahoot for World Refugee Day

If you’re a teacher working in Belgium, Spain, Portugal or Hungary and you’re interested in the topic of migration – or you know someone who fits that profile – JRS Europe’s upcoming event is just right.

In light of World Refugee Day in June, JRS Europe warmly invites teachers from the four countries above and their students (11-18 years old) to take part in an online European Interschool Kahoot on Wednesday 9th of June.

Why take part?
Because the Kahoot will encourage the students to become aware of their knowledge and views on migration and refugees, in a fun and engaging way. The activity provides an opportunity for students from different countries to learn together about an important societal topic. This Kahoot is part of the CHANGE project, an educational project which aims to promote students’ critical thinking and participation on the themes of migration and refugees.

When and how to take part?
We will facilitate several 30 minute Kahoot quiz sessions in English and Spanish through the Zoom platform. The teacher will need a computer and Internet to connect to Zoom. Students can answer the Kahoot quiz with their personal device (a phone or a laptop).

Below is a timetable of the different sessions on June 9th:

To register for the event, please fill in this form before the 7th June (at the latest).
